Burton L. Ulmer, Sr of Bristol passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence. He was 97 years old. Burton was born in Philadelphia and was a resident of Bristol for the last 7 years and was formerly of Bensalem. He worked as a machinist for Uniroyal Tires for 40 years. Burton was a proud US Army Veteran. He enjoyed trips to the shore, fishing, animals, especially his cat Homer but his greatest love and joy was spending time with his family. Burton was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 23 years Wanda “Sally” Ulmer. He will be sadly missed by his loving children: Florence Shashaah, Susan Morelan, Burton L. Ulmer Jr., James T. Ulmer and Wanda “Wendy” Watson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Burton was preceded in death by his daughter Diane Contino and his sisters: Mabel, Edna and Dorothy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Saturday from 12 to 1 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 1 PM.
