Obituary for Angela P. "Ann" Jennings

Angela P. “Ann” (Johann) Jennings of Philadelphia passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She as 55 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Richard Upton and June (Markle) Johann, and was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. Ann was extremely personable and easy-going, who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ann also enjoyed spending time with her friends, finding the occasional yard sale, shopping with her daughter or talking on the phone with her sister. She was a true homemaker, who took pride in caring for her home and family and extended that warmth and love to foster children. Ann also enjoyed playing bingo, trips to Wildwood, NJ, watching movies and was known for her cooking, especially her meatballs and McKenzie's chicken. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be deeply missed by her loving family. Ann is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, James P. Jennings, Jr. She is also survived by her loving children: Nicole (Anthony Bonanni) and James P. Jennings, III (Breanna Miller); Her siblings: Robert Johann, Marjorie Carner (Daniel) and Jeffrey Johann; Her sister-in-law: Virginia “Peaches” Pickerton; Her two grandchildren: Bo and Grace Jennings who were the entirety of her world, and her dog, Skye. Ann was preceded in death by her son, Tyler J. Jennings. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation, Monday October 10, 2022, from 6 to 7 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 7 PM. The family request all those who attend her service, to please dress casual in honor of Ann. Interment will be private.
