Anna M. (Shookla) Veneri of Philadelphia passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Lansdale Hospital. She was 84 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Mary (Shurgot) Shookla. Anna enjoyed gardening, baking and was an avid collector of antique glass. Anna also enjoyed spending her days with her pet parakeet “Pretty Girl”. Anna was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Veneri. Anna will be sadly missed by her loving son, Raymond P. Veneri (Shannon); her best friend Elaine and many other loving relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, Friday from 9 to 10 AM at Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19115, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM.
