Obituary for Anthony T. Kuropatwa Jr.

Anthony T. Kuropatwa Jr., of Philadelphia, passed away on April 20, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was just 56 years old. Anthony worked as a surgical technologist for the Rothman Institute for over 10 years.
In his free time, he loved to play ice hockey and was an active member of many hockey clubs. He was always willing to get “in net” for any team in need. He’ll especially miss his youngest and favorite goalie buddy, his granddaughter Layla along with his defenseman, Gavin. He’ll miss torturing “dirtball” with his granddaughter Gabriella. He’ll miss climbing with Teen and playing sports out front with LJ. Tony recently enjoyed playing living room hockey with his newest player, his 2 year old granddaughter, Ryan. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved every minute spent with them!
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 25 years, Laurene (nee Geinnotta), his children: Nicole Martin (Charles), Anthony T. Kuropatwa III, Antoinette Bolinski (Jim), Christina Giordano (Steve) and his grandchildren: Gavin Martin, Layla Martin, Ryan Martin, Gabriella Kuropatwa, Christina Bolinski, James Bolinski, Anthony Giordano, Gianna Giordano and Dominic Giordano. He is also survived by his parents: Anthony and Lori Kuropatwa, his sister Kimberlee Kuropatwa, niece Kailee Dillon and nephew Christopher Dillon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anthony’s Visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Wednesday April 27th from 6:00-7:00 PM followed by his Service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Anthony’s children are requesting donations for his grandchildren's sports which he took significant pride in attending. Checks can be made payable to Nicole Martin, 1638 Point Drive, Bensalem, PA 19020.
