Obituary for Arthur "Dusty" Dustman Jr.

Arthur “Dusty” Dustman Jr., 98, passed away on January 9th. Art graduated from Northeast Catholic in 1942, joined the military where Dusty was a proud Veteran of the United States Army Air Corps., serving with the Flying Tigers in WWII and SAC in the Korean Conflict. After serving, he worked as an accountant with the United States Postal Service for 36 years. Dusty enjoyed woodworking, played baseball until he was 85 years old, including with General Chennault during WWII, served as an Usher at St. Thomas Aquinas Church for over 20 years, and was a member of the Society of American Magicians. Art was preceded by his parents Art and Helen, wife of 56 years Mary, Grandson Mike, and Brother John (Marie). He will be deeply missed by his children: Mary Robinson (Colin), Arthur Dustman III (Charmaine), and Bernadette Kringe (Richard), as well as his 10 grandchildren; Dawn (Danny), Lynn (Craig), Tammy (Mike), Arthur IV (Crissa), Kelly (Rich), Nikki (Jason), Bill (Kelly), Rich (Meg), Bob (Joe), 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild and nephews and nieces. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 601 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA 19021 on Wednesday, January 18th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Ding Hao!
