Barbara L. Mahan of Hulmeville, PA passed away on July 29, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, she was a devout Catholic and graduated from Little Flower High School. After graduation, she attended beauty school and became a hairdresser, working from her home. Always fashionable and wearing the latest styles, Barbara loved to go out to dinner with her friends and enjoyed telling jokes with an infectious laugh. She was the wife of her late husband, Joseph M. Mahan for over 50 years. Other favorite pastimes of hers were cruising to islands and spending time at the Sea Isle beach with her family. Barbara proudly worked in tandem with her husband running Plates Incorporated. Later in her life, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her children, Debbie Foerst (Michael), Joseph Mahan (Jennifer), and Holly Storz (Dwight) and her eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday August 10, from 11 am to noon followed by a memorial mass at 12:00PM at St. Ephraim Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020. Interment will take place immediately following at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St Francis Inn, 2441 Kensington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125
