Obituary

Carl L. Nast of Bensalem passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at his residence. He was 77 years old. Born in Philadelphia, Carl was a resident of Bensalem for the last 45 years. He worked as a logistics agent for Engelhard Trucking for over 20 years. He was a proud US Air Force Veteran. Carl enjoyed watching the stock channel, game shows, especially Jeopardy and was a history buff. He was also an avid golfer and he loved watching his grandchildren play sports. Carl was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 ½ years Janet (Clougherty) Nast. He will be sadly missed by his 4 loving children: Jason Nast (Danielle), Megan Mee (Thomas), Jeffrey Nast (Colleen) and Melissa Dunkerley (Kenneth); Nieces and nephew: Erin, Amy and James; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Rite of Committal Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111. www.foxchase.org. www.tomlinsonfh.com

I remember how Carl liked to cook breakfast for us Pittsburgh relatives when we visited.
I also remember watching Jason,Megan and Jeff when Melissa was born. Carl was so tired he never heard those three jumping on beds and saying they were making “ Halo statues” . God bless all of you . Love,Barbara
