Cass (and Ray) came into my life when they took a CPR class that I taught in Edgewater Park, NJ in 1982 as a member of the Beverly Emergency Squad. We came to be close friends and she was my sponsor as I entered the Catholic Church in 1986 at St. Joseph Church in Beverly. We later taught together at St. Joseph School. We played poker regularly as well as endless hours of trivial pursuit. We also traveled together, touring New England in 2 different summers and 1 Easter Vacation in Williamsburg, VA. She was like a second mother to me in many ways! As the seeds in Catholicism were planted my her, my career in the lay ministry of the Catholic Church, in both education and music, can be attributed to her example. Rest in peace, Cass!!!!
