Obituary

Charles J. Takach Sr., of Bensalem, passed away at Holy Redeemer Hospital on February 12th, 2021. He was 85 years old. Charles worked in construction, spending the last 17 years of his career with Henkels and McCoy. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, vacationing at the beaches in Florida, tinkering and building various projects, and WaWa. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jane (nee McQuillen), his children: Charles Takach Jr., and Nicole Cronin (John), and his grandchildren: Melissa Nicole Takach, Hugh Nicholas Derby, Paul Takach, and John Cronin Jr. Charles was also preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Takach, and his siblings: Dorothy Barsby and Thomas Takach. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, February 16th from 10:00AM-11:00AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa, 19020 followed by his Mass at 11:00AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
