David Charlton Krause Sr, of Bensalem, passed away on June 9, 2021 at Crestview Center. He was 72 years old. David served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic, he achieved the rank of sergeant. David moved on an became an electrician and worked as a Commercial Electrical Supervisor for Paperworks Industries for 41 years. He was also a youth minister and later, Senior Pastor at Cornwells United Methodist Church for 9 years and The Trevose Church for 3 years. In his free time, David enjoyed golfing and was a very passionate Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He is survived by his loving wife Morena L. (nee Reyes), his children: Christine Engelhardt (David), Dawn Tepper (Peter), Debbie Karwacki (Scott), Andrea Resko (Chris), David Krause Jr. (Michelle), James T. Reyes (Gladys), and Alisha M. Hooven, his grandchildren: Ronald James (RJ), Gavin, Dylan, Austin, Samantha, Peter, Alexa, Emma, Carolynn, Christina, Lisa, Tyler, and Brayden. David is also survived by his siblings: Carolyn Joseph (Elliott), James Krause (Patty), and John Krause (Tina). Relatives and friends are invited to attend David’s Viewing Monday from 10 to 11AM followed by his Service at 11 AM at The Cornwells United Methodist Church, 2284 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020. Interment will take place Tuesday at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at approximately 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in David’s name to Cornwells United Methodist Church.
