Edward M. Green, of Bensalem, passed away at his home on April 14, surrounded by his loving family. He was 75 years old. Edward was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. Edward was a long-time fixture in the Philadelphia area soccer community, most notably having served as a United Junior Soccer League board member and as the Philadelphia Catholic League referee assignor for over 30 years. He was also a proud inductee into the Father Judge Soccer Hall of Fame, as well as the Southeastern PA Soccer Hall of Fame. Edward will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Patricia (nee Overline), his children: Thomas Green (Noelle), Edward Green (Kelly), Anne Marie Handley (Timothy), and Daniel Green, and his 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Michael and Patrick. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 30th from 3pm to 9pm at the home of Anne Marie and Tim Handley (828 Green Ridge Circle, Langhorne PA 19053).
