Edwin Leedom Thomas IV
Edwin “Lee”dom Thomas, age 83 of Croydon, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday,
December 4, 2020.

Lee was born in Philadelphia and was a lifelong resident of Bucks County. He served in the Army from 1960-1966 as a Chaplain’s Assistant. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Bible where he also taught Music. Lee was on the Board of Governors for Camp Orchard Hill when the E.F.C.A. first bought the camp in Dallas, Pennsylvania. He was employed as a Senior Systems Analyst for Conrail, for 43 years. Lee was the organist and pianist as well as an Elder at Liberty Evangelical Free Church in Philadelphia for the last 62 years of his life.

Lee loved to spend time with his family. He loved to fish and travel. He loved coaching the Bible Quiz Team at Church and directing Choirs. Lee loved Music, playing many instruments during his lifetime. He played piano for the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra in his younger years. His favorite Music was always the Old Hymns of Faith. Lee loved the Lord Jesus with all of his heart, soul and mind.

Lee will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 60 years Charlotte (Gouse) Thomas. He was the youngest child of Edwin and Matilda Thomas of Andalusia. Lee was preceded in death by his eldest son Edwin Leedom Thomas V on June 17, 2020.

Lee was the loving father of Leigh Anne Kelly (married to David J. Kelly), Edwin Leedom Thomas V (married to Julie Thomas), and David Wayne Thomas (married to Kimberly Thomas). Lee had 7 grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Krysta L. Kelly, David J. Kelly Jr., Emily L. Thomas, McKenna G. Thomas, Edwin L. Thomas VI, David W. Thomas Jr., and Caila G. Thomas. Lee was a loving and caring uncle to many nieces, and nephews, as well as many children from the church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Friday May 14, 2021 at 9:00 am at the Liberty Evangelical Free Church, 5125 Linden Avenue, Phila., PA 19114 followed by his service at 10:00 am. Interment Bristol Cemetery.
