Ellen T. Floyd, of Telford, passed away at her home on March 19th after a short, courageous battle with cancer. She was 75 years old. Ellen was a long-time educator, who taught hundreds of children between St. Michael’s, St. Charles Borromeo, and St. Bede’s for over 40 years. After retiring she moved to Franconia and frequently volunteered at the local care and share. Ellen enjoyed crocheting, loved her dachshunds, and driving her 1955 Ford Thunderbird. Nothing, however, was more important to her than spending time with her 3 grandchildren, Gavin George, Axl, and Abigail. She will be deeply missed by her son, Matthew Floyd (Laura), her grandchildren, her sister Linda Stanton (James) and niece and nephew Katie (Kate) and Michael. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, John in 2016, her brother, Fred Ketel and her Parents George and Katherine. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020, on Saturday, March 25th from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by her Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa 18940 on Monday, March 27th at precisely 9:30 AM.
