Francis “Fran” J. Fischer, III of Levittown passed away Wednesday May 5, 2021, at Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, surrounded by his loving family. He was 46 years old. Born in Elkins Park, PA, Fran was a resident of Levittown for the last 20 years. He worked for the Neshaminy School District as an electrician for the last 8 years and previously IBEW Local#98 for 15 years. Fran was a “DIE HARD” hockey fan, whether it was watching the Flyers, playing EA Sports NHL or playing in his many hockey leagues (Hippos). Fran loved spending summers at the beach in West Wildwood with his loved ones. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 19 years, Heather (Rickards). Fran is also survived by his sons: Francis J. and Anthony C. Fischer; His mother; Marie (Hickey) Fischer (the Late Francis “Mo” J., Jr.); Siblings; Kelly Ann McVaugh (Brian), Kevin M. (Jessica) and Brian J. Fischer (Ashley); Grandmother: Mary R. (DiSalvio) Fischer; Father-in-Law: Jim Rickards (the late Gloria); Sister-in-Law; Gail Hunsberger; Brother-in-Law: Jamie Rickards (Kris) and loving uncle Fran to many nieces and nephews. Fran will also be sadly missed by his aunt, uncle, many cousins and his Hockey and Neshaminy family and many others. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, and again Thursday from 10 to 11 AM, followed by his service at 11 AM.
