Francis P. “Pete” Wolset of Bensalem passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was 89 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late John and Mary (Keller) Wolset and was a resident of Bensalem for the last 67 years. He worked as self-employed trucker driver for over 40 years. Pete enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to flea markets and loved to spend time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 67 years, Marianne R. (Wiegand) Wolset. Pete is also survived by his 6 loving children: John F. (Dawn), David M. (Kathy) and Robert C. Wolset (Ann Kristine), Patrice A. Gaynor (Marty), Lynn F. Ahlers (John) and Marianne Darrah (Ed); His sister-in-law’s: Helen and Catherine Wolset; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Pete was preceded in death by his siblings: John Wolset, Margaret Lippincott, Mary Larissey, Thomas and Joseph Wolset and Catherine Hatton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Monday, October 17, 2022, from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 11 AM.
