Obituary for Hilda P. Minster (Pfeuffer)

Hilda P. Minster passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at her home in Bensalem, at the age of 85. Born in Philadelphia and a resident of Langhorne for 15 years, Hilda worked as a machine operator for Carlton Mills. She enjoyed many adventures throughout her life with her loving husband of 38 years, Paul Minster, by her side. From traveling around the United States in their RV to befriending wildlife in the neighborhood, these two were the perfect pair. Hilda also enjoyed bingo, trips to the casino and was an active member of the Bensalem and Neshaminy Senior Centers. Hilda’s kind spirit will be missed by all including her step-children Shirley M. Minster (Terri), and Paul C. Minster (Loretta); grandson Paul C. Minster Jr. (Lynn); great-grandchildren Nicholas Schmeltzer and Quinn Minster; nieces Bernadette Decker, Melissa Mann, and Katie Martin; and cat Petals. Hilda is preceded in death by her sisters Tilly, Frances, Vera and Gertrude. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, March 22, from 9:00-10:00 AM, followed by her service at 10:00 AM, at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA at 11:30 AM.
