James M. Malloy, of Langhorne, passed away on February 20, 2022. He was 67 years old. James was a teacher at Bucks County Community College for the last 6 years. Prior to that he worked as a chemist for Intertek, Air Products and Chemicals, Congoleum and Union Camp Paper Co. He attended Freeland High School, graduated with a BS in chemistry from the University of Scranton and received his MS in Chemistry from Villanova University where he met his future wife. In his free time, he was an avid cyclist, coached CYO basketball for over 25 years, enjoyed listening to music, especially the Beatles, Moody Blues, and the TransSiberian Orchestra, and attending local theater productions. James will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Ellen (nee Borkowski), his children: Carolyn Grider (Marc), Kristin Malloy, Julie Hartenbach (Nate), Timothy Malloy (Kate), and grandchildren: Ella, Nora, Benjamin, Elijah, Logan, and Brady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Saturday, March 5th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Beechwood Cemetery. The family requests that donations be made in James’ name to the Bensalem High School Sports Association, 4319 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem PA 19020.
