Jerry Charles Boyd of Bensalem passed away suddenly Saturday, May 29, 2021 at his residence. He was 75 years old. Born in Philadelphia, Jerry was a resident of Bensalem for the last 37 years. Jerry worked as a tractor trailer mechanic and later, owned and operated J.C. Boyd Fleet Service for over 40 years. Jerry enjoyed spending his time outdoors, whether it was fishing or caring for his lawn. He also enjoyed drag racing in his younger years and spending his summers and weekends at the shore, Cape May Villas, NJ. Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary R. Boyd. He will be sadly missed by his loving son, Charles W. Boyd (Colleen); His grandson, Jonathan Boyd (Sara) and his greatgrandchild, Tressie Boyd. Jerry is also survived by his stepsons: Jack Hatfield (Norma) and James Hatfield Sr. (Karen), his step grandson: James Hatfield Jr. (Elizabeth), and his step greatgrandchildren: Maggie, Emma, and Olivia Hatfield.
