John D. Franklin, Sr., age 80, of Bensalem, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Franklin was born in Philadelphia and was a resident of Bensalem, PA for the last 48 years.
John worked a supervisor for PECO for over 30 years. He was a US Army Radio Operator in Vietnam (1967-1968). He enjoyed caring for his home and helping family and friends with repairs around their home. John was also a member of the Thomas R. Patton Lodge #659 F & AM. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Patricia (Quinn), his three loving children: Judy Chambers (George), John D., Jr (Michelle) and David Franklin (Noreen). He will be sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren: Zachary, Benjamin, Kameron (Jordan), Drea, Maddison, Danielle (Mitch), Jeremey, Nicole and two great grandchildren: Ameliana and Wyatt. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
