John T. Hanna, Sr. of Croydon passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 73 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late William and Anna Mae (Crochett) Hanna and was a lifelong resident of Croydon. John proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps with the rank of Corporal. He was a lifetime member of the Joseph A. Schumacher, VFW Post 1597. He worked as a roofer for over 30 years with Local#30 and 30B. John enjoyed target shooting, and fishing, was a former member of the Bristol Yacht Club and loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years, Katherine E. (Muffler). John will also be sadly missed by his 4 loving children: Kate Cordisco (Ricky), John T. Hannah, Jr (Alisa), Bernadette Hannah, and Natalie Wood (Robert); His siblings: Helen Reppert, Wallamae “Billie” Kerringon (Mark), William “Skippy” Hanna (Susan), Anna Mae “Babe” Zimmerman and Catherine Hanna; His 7 grandchildren: Matthew (Shannon), Eric, Mary, Mia, Hannah (Fiancé Edward), Lynx and Sophia; 3 great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Noah and Olivia and his best friend, Walter Muffler. John was preceded in death by his siblings, Marjorie Rothermel "Marge", and Mark Hanna. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Saturday from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 10:30 AM.
