It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jon F. Pearson, a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and friend. Jon peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was 71 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Dorothy R. (Friedrichs) and Edward B. Pearson, Sr, and was a resident of Mays Landing, NJ for the past 6 years and was formerly of Bowers, PA, Perkasie, PA and Bensalem, PA.
Jon was the epitome of a caring and compassionate individual throughout his life. He dedicated 45 years of his career to the glass manufacturing industry, where he excelled and achieved the position of National Sales Manager at LTI Smart Glass.
But Jon's true passion lay in his family. He was a devoted husband of 39 years to his wife, Andrea (DeMeester) Pearson. Together, Jon and Andrea built a beautiful family, raising their children with utmost care and affection.
As a father, Jon was a constant pillar of support and guidance. He raised his daughter, Kimberly Pizzo (John, Sr.), and three sons, Kevin J. (Nicole), David M. (Priscila), and Christian E. Pearson (Olya), with love and laughter. He shared his passions with them, whether it was playing the guitar, enjoying the outdoors, keeping physically fit, or rooting for their beloved Philadelphia sports teams. Jon will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Johnny Jr., Joshua, Kalynna, and two more grandchildren on the way, who were the lights of his life. Jon was also preceded in death by his brother, Edward B. Pearson, Jr.
Outside of his family and career, Jon enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was known for his fantastic sense of humor and could always be found with a smile on his face. Jon had a knack for finding joy in the little things, whether it was tending to his home, relishing in delicious food, or savoring a fine cigar and a cold beer with friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Friday, November 17, 2023, from 11 AM to 12 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 12 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Jon's name to the American Cancer Society or the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. www.tomlinsonfh.com
