Joseph David Hopfner, of Bensalem, passed away peacefully at his home on June 8th, surrounded by his loving family and friends after a long battle with diabetes. He was 60 years old. Joseph worked as a carpenter for Apple Construction for 32 years. Joseph was a proud member of the N.R.A. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 38 years, Carolyn (nee Risich), his children: Dana Hopfner, Joseph Z. Hopfner (Sandra), and Nicholas Hopfner (Shalynn) and 8 grandchildren, and his parents: Joseph and Rosemary Hopfner. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem PA 19020 on Tuesday, June 14th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joseph’s name to St. Ephrem Church at the above address.
