Josephine Eleanor Zdanowicz, of Bensalem, passed away at St. Mary Medical Center on June 5th. She was 96 years old. Josephine worked as a housekeeper/nanny for a family for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and singing in the choir at St. Valentine’s Church. Josephine will be deeply missed by her children: William Zdanowicz (Deborah), Janet Ciarlante (Nick), and Kathleen Underwood (Joseph), her grandchildren: Christie Hill, Michael Underwood, Mark Zdanowicz, Beth Gniazdowski, Kelly Reynolds, and Eric Ciarlante, and her 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William, in 1978 as well as her siblings: Frances Mularczyk and Richard Deren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Tuesday, June 8th from 1:00-1:30 PM followed by her Mass at 1:30 PM. Interment will take place at St. Valentine’s Cemetery.
