June E. (Moyer) Simon of Bensalem passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Abington, PA to the late Willard and Eleanor (Ruoff) Moyer. June was a resident of Bensalem for the last 8 years and was formerly of Vass, NC and Perkasie, PA. She worked as a hairdresser for Strawbridge’s for over 18 years, and after retiring, she volunteered at a local hospital for 20 years in North Carolina. June spent many years singing in church choirs with her husband. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, James Calvin Simon. June will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Deborah Zdanowicz (William). She is also survived by her brother, Dale Moyer (Miriam); Her grandchildren: Christie Hill (Al) and Mark Zdanowicz (Hope) and one great grandson, Matthew Zdanowicz. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 1 to 2 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Service at 2 PM.
