Leon J. Flanagan age 56, of Philadelphia passed away suddenly January 2, 2023 in his home. Born in Philadelphia, Leon was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School, Class of 1984, his career was in the Construction industry, and he was a daily reader of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Leon was the beloved son of Leon M. and Marianne (Murray) Flanagan, devoted father of Shane Flanagan, and brother of Jack Flanagan and his wife Alesia and Marianne Guest and her husband Chris. He is also survived by his grandfather Irvin, niece Kellianne and nephews Connor, Chris, and Riley, great-niece Piper Lee, and cherished friend Jenny. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Road, Phila., PA 19154 followed by his funeral mass at 10:30am. Interment private.
