Michael John Comerford, of Bristol, passed away on February 26th. He was 74 years old. Michael was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. After serving, he worked as a Letter Carrier for the United States Post Office for over 35 years. Michael was a passionate Irishman, and very supportive of all the Notre Dame Fighting Irish athletic teams, especially football. He also enjoyed coaching youth sports and watching Philly sports teams. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Mary (nee Reed), his children, Heather Avvento (Scott), and Michael Comerford (Nancy), as well as his grandchildren: Kathleen, Brendan, Nora, and Claire. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Friday, March 3rd, from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place privately at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
