Obituary for Paul W. DuPree
Paul William DuPree of Bensalem passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Paul was born in Syracuse, NY and had been a resident of Bensalem for the last 28 years. He was a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School, Onondaga Community College and attended State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
Paul worked in the telecommunications industry for 40 years. He worked the last 28 years for CommScope, located in Horsham, as a Staff Systems Engineer.
He was an avid lover of all pets, especially his beloved dog Bailey. He enjoyed his work, family holiday celebrations, visiting friends and being an uncle.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Paula Micklo DuPree and his father, William Latimer DuPree. He is survived by his mother Ann Hamilton DuPree, one brother James (Patricia) DuPree and two sisters, Elizabeth (Kim) Skellie and Ellen DuPree. Also several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
The family is grateful to The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania intensive care unit staff, surgical team and Paul’s cousin, Joanne Patten Bugher, for providing the best comfort and care during his last and most difficult hospital stay
Paul’s service and internment will take place in Syracuse, NY at a later date.
