Paul V. Yordy of Bensalem passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at his residence. He was 91 years old. Born in Huntington, Indiana to Charles A. Yordy and Kathryn Yordy. Paul was a resident of Bensalem for the past 18 years. Paul worked in the baking industry all his life. He started out at the age of 16, as an oven boy and worked his way up over the years to manager. Over the years he also had a Wood business on the side where he provided wood to his local community. Paul was very much a family man and the stories he told most of you would have thought were unbelievable. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, baking, horses, and NASCAR races. Paul grew up on a farm as a child. Paul was married three times over the years but the last one was his most loved one. They met while he was flying in and out of the Bahamas for work. Paul will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 31 years, Sandra L. Yordy (Newman). He is also survived by his 6 children: Chuck Yordy (Peggy), Rick Yordy (Gloria), Annette Yordy (Fiancé Donald Moise), Mario Newman, Yvette Robinson (Andy) and Marican Newman; His siblings: Betty Gutoski (Raymond), Don Yordy (Joyce) and Gene Yordy (Sharon), Robert Yordy, Dudley Yordy, and Douglas Yordy. 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In Paul's last years, he was cared for by his loving wife who was with him until his last breathe. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Thursday April 29th from 5 to 6:30 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 6:30 PM.
