Obituary for Philip R. Pilong

Philip Pilong, of Bensalem, PA, passed away on January 4th. He was 84 years old. Philip is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 29 years Alice Pilong and Son-in-law, William Cook.
Phil proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Hansworth and remained connected to the Tin Can Sailors. He worked for Nabisco Foods for 35 years, he continued to travel before enjoying most of his time in Brigantine Beach, NJ with his many granddogs. Phil always had a treat in his pocket for his four- legged friends.
Phil enjoyed collecting trains, an avid reader, watching Dr. Who, SpongeBob, spending time with his beach family, and going to the casino with Greg. He especially liked to watch and discuss the Eagles and Phillies with his friend, Chuck and enjoyed spirited political and Armed Forces discussions with Rob.
He will be missed by his children: Charles McMenamin (Geri), Constance McMenamin (Brett McMahon), Mary Ellen Cook (the late Bill), Ann Marie McMenamin (Daniel Cocozza), as well as his 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his second family: Andrea, Kevin, and Jenna, his sister Mary Lowery, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Friday, April 23rd from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by his Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
