Rodger Michael Whalen of Feasterville passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, at his residence. He was 69 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Charles Joseph Whalen, Sr. and Virginia Irene (McLeon) Whalen and was a resident of Feasterville for the last 31 years and was formerly of Bensalem. Michael worked as an Iron Worker for over 40 years with Local #401. He enjoyed tinkering with his cars, golfing and traveling. Michael will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 38 years, Constance “Connie” (Byrd). Michael is also survived by his children: Kara Lee Hand, Michael Casey Whalen, Kyle Murphy Whalen (Emily), Sian Smith (Brian), Rodger Michael Whalen, Jr. (Deborah), Megan Patricia Whalen, Danielle Marie Harper and Kate Alexandra Whalen and his grandchildren: Sophia Smith, Alexa Smith, Madelynn Smith, Scarlett Leporace, Elena Whalen, Aiden Whalen, Collin Whalen, Abbey Hand, Georgia Hand, Reagan Lee Hand, Charlotte Hand, Asher Hand, Jason Hand, Teagan Harper and Rodger Michael Whalen, III and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his siblings: Charles Joseph Whalen, Jr., Timothy Whalen and Bernadette Whalen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Friday December 2, 2022, from 11 to 12 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 12 PM.
