Obituary for Romayne R. Cianni

Romayne Cianni passed away peacefully on March 10, 2022, after 99 beautiful and loving years. She enjoyed life to the fullest and especially being with her family. Romayne married her Old Forge High School sweetheart Elmer in 1947, and together they raised four boys in Bensalem. She was our best friend and cheerleader all the way up until her final breath. In her youth, she sang at many social events in the Scranton area. After raising her sons, Romayne volunteered many hours at St. Ephrem Catholic Church. If you knew Romayne, you always felt comfortable stopping by for a visit. She took pride in her cooking and baking and no one ever left her house hungry. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love lives on in her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer and her son Ronnie. Romayne is survived by her sons: Bob (Marci), Richard (Patricia), Ray (Marcy), and her daughter-in-law Barbara. Romayne would always say her daughters-in-law are just like her daughters, and the reverse was true. She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Julie Schmidt (Eric), Raymond (Dana), Gary (Ali), Michael, Pamela Garner (Ryan), Jaimie Parker (Benn), Greg (Ashley), Brian (Amy), and Mark (Mika), as well as her 15 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation, Saturday March 19, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5340 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem PA 19020 followed by her Mass at 11 AM. Rite of committal at Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary Medical Center and Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate love and care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.tomlinsonfh.com
