Ronald W. Davis
October 16, 1945 – January 18, 2022
Ronald W. Davis, 76 of Bensalem, Pa., was granted angel wings on January 18th. He is survived by his devoted wife and caregiver of 49 years, Barbara Davis.
Ron was born in Philadelphia, son of the late Albert and Rita Davis and brother Raymond. Ron was a graduate of Father Judge High School class of 1963. Following high school, Ron proudly served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam from 1964 -1968. Following his service Ron worked with Verizon (formerly Bell Telephone Company) for 30 plus years. He was an active member with the Artisans of Mutual Protection for 75 years and eventually seated on the Board of Directors. Ron’s enjoyment other than his family was “GOLF”. He loved everything about golfing, this is something everyone knew about Ron and the memories he had with many. Ron will be missed by many but especially his family he loved.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Ron Jr, a daughter Andrea, and son in law Jeff Hastings, 2 grandchildren Trevor and Julia, niece Donnamarie and husband Carmen Borgia, nephew Raymond Jr and wife Angie, children Aaron and Cameron Davis and grandmother, Christina.
Family and friends are invited to attend Ron’s viewing on Wednesday January 26th at 10 a.m. with a mass following at 11 a.m. in Saint Ephrem Catholic Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem immediately following.
The Davis family kindly ask that all who attend Ron’s service wear a mask and observe Covid-19 precautions with social distancing.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
