Obituary for Ruth E. Paul (Woehr)
Ruth E. (nee Woehr) Paul, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Langhorne Gardens at the age of 89. Born in Philadelphia to the late John and Doris (nee Baeder) Woehr and former longtime resident of Bensalem. Ruth was a woman of compassion and great faith who dedicated her life serving the Lord. She had a servants heart that loved to help others, especially those in need. She was an active member of the Christian Life Church for many years. Ruth truly loved the Lord with all her heart! Celebrating her devotion to Jesus through Christian Life Church was her legacy to her family and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her late husbands, Paul Williams and Edward “Ted” Paul. She is the beloved mother of Dawn Jobs (Andy), Donald Williams (Dayle), Diane Lewis (William), George Katsoris (Kristy) and Becky Sorace (Rocco). She is survived by her 11 grandchildren; Jennifer Espert, Andrew Jobs, Amanda Simon, Eric Schwartz, Jason Schwartz, Donald Williams, Jr., Rachel Balasco, William Lewis, IV, Maximus Katsoris, Gianni Sorace and Angelina Sorace and her 14 great grandchildren. Ruth will also be deeply missed by her brothers, John and Richard Woehr and sisters, Deborah Shamboro and Rachel Gates. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation, Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 11 AM. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth’s memory to Christian Life Church, 3100 Galloway Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 would be preferred by her family.
