Sandra G. (Vandegrift) Harrison of Philadelphia passed away suddenly, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Paul's Run Retirement Community. She was 79 years old. Born in Bristol, PA to the late George “Stanley” and Helen (Denny) Vandegrift, Sandra was formerly of Langhorne, Feasterville and Bristol, PA. Sandra worked as a Teacher’s Aide for Bristol Twp School District for over 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting and various arts & crafts. Sandra also enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to England and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies Fan. She was a devoted member of the Eddington Presbyterian Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher and various other spiritual leadership positions throughout her life. Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert A. Harrison, Sr, her children, Stanley “Lee” and Scott Harrison and her brother, Joseph Vandegrift. She will be deeply missed by her children, Helen Ann Bock (Edward) and Robert A. Harrison, Jr. (Christine). Sandra is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Dana Harrison; Her sister, Caroline Gesnaker (James); 13 grandchildren and many loving great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM at the Eddington Presbyterian Church, 3650 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 11 AM.
