Thomas P Janzer of Bensalem passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his residence with his wife and children by his side. He was 56 years old. For the majority of his years, Tom ran the manufacturing side of his family business, Janzer Corporation. Up until September of this year, he worked as a transportation specialist at Harbor Sales, where he quickly built close relationships with both clients and coworkers. Even on his toughest days, Tom continued to be his positive, upbeat, joking self. When Tom wasn’t hard at work, he enjoyed the simple things in life. He always cherished his family trips to Jamaica, listening to music and working in his garage. Toms strength, will and spirt was admired by many. For Tom, family came first, last and always.

Tom will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 32 years, Jacqueline H. (Sessa). He is also survived by his children Thomas (Brittany), Taylor (Matthew) and Julia Janzer and his grandchildren Oliver, Crew and baby girl Janzer, who is on the way. All who will miss him dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Monday December 28, 2020 from 2-3PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by a private service. Masks and social distancing are required

"When you die it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and the manner in which you live." -Stuart Scott

Tom you are a winner… We could all take a page out of your book

Today we went to a service for our good friend Tom Janzer. Tears filled my eyes every time I tried to write a remembrance today. Tom was the guy that could put a smile on your face no matter what kind of day you were having. I spent many a game on the sideline with Tom and Jackie, watching our girls Lauren and Julia play sports together. And we’ve watched our families mature and grow as life’s milestones came along.
Tom was the embodiment of a family man. Everything he did in life was geared towards his family. His special interest...his family! It shines through when you see his pictures.
Tom was funny and kind and giving. And Tom was a fighter. We used to joke about who had the tougher paper route growing up. For the past 5 years I watched Tom courageously battle cancer. Incredibly through all of this he danced at weddings and ate cake at his grandkid’s birthday parties as though nothing was amiss. Tom’s signature line when you asked him how he was doing was “Never had a bad day”. That response never wained from the day I met him.
Tom was cool. He was dark sunglasses and Hawaiian shirt cool. Although small in stature, his personality could fill a room. Jackie and Tom have raised the most beautiful family. Their strength through all of this was remarkable. I wish I could have borrowed a little bit of .
that strength when Jackie asked if I wanted to speak at the service. I was so honored but I wasn’t up for the task. I can hear Tom in my ear now...jokingly calling me every sissy name in the book.
Thankfully your son and sister-in-law knocked it out of the park.
Rest In Peace my friend. Cancer didn’t win. Love won.
Tom Janzer was a great man.

Jackie and Family. He was loved by all and had a special way of connecting with everyone in the room. He will be sure to brighten up Heaven with his signature Hawaiian shirt and his easy going personality. We will miss you Tom.

Truly there are no words. Our hearts are broken with yours, and our prayers are with you.
Though we need to weep your loss, You dwell in that safe place in our hearts, Where no storm or night or pain can reach you Let us not look for you only in memory, Where we would grow lonely without you. You would want us to find you in presence, Beside us when beauty brightens, When kindness glows And music echoes eternal tones.
