Timothy J. Buffington, of Philadelphia, passed away on January 27th. He was 67 years old. Tim was born and raised in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, and then enlisted in the United States Navy. After serving, he worked as a Boiler Technician for TastyKake and Purex. Tim was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and loved working on cars. He is survived by his children: Kelly Schwartz (Jason), Stephanie Bruce, and Timothy Buffington Jr. (Andrea), as well as his grandchildren: Justin, Julia, Danielle, Steven, Shane, and Daphne, and his siblings: Susan Finegold (Steve), Paul Buffington (Joyce), and Sean Buffington (Patti). Timothy was preceded in death by his siblings: Kathy Duffy and Johnny Buffington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Saturday, February 4th from 9:00-10:00 AM followed by his Service at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
