Vernell (Johnson) Torres went home to her heavenly father on Friday, August 12, 2022. She was 82 years old. Born in Amelia, VA to the late Mabry and Mary Sue (Woodson) Johnson. Vernell was devoted to her family and will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Miguel Torres. Vernell will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Kim Torres-Thomas and her companion Floyd Tate. She is also survived by her sisters: Geraldine Halsey, Mary LaVern Williams, Doris Dallas (William), Hazel Johnson, and Francine Robinson (Ralland); Her Brother Larry Johnson (Ivy); Aunt, Edith Woodson; Sister-in-law, Rosa Torres, Brother-in-law, Luis Torres and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 1 to 2 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 2 PM.
