William David Fletcher, Sr., 74. of Sellersville, PA ended a hard-fought battle with cancer on July 16, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beverly Fletcher(née Hornickle), their six children: William “B.J.”Fletcher, Jr. of Bensalem, PA, Jessica McNamee (Daniel) of Yardley, PA, Rebecca Dennys (Chad) of Suffolk, VA, Jason Winder (Tiana) of Louisville KY, Pam Winder of Bensalem, PA, Monica Goldacker of Louisville, KY, and his brother, John C. Fletcher (Maria) of Landsdale, PA, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Selma Mary (nee Keys) and William Theodore Fletcher of Philadelphia and his stepdaughter, Angel Winder. Known to his friends as “Fletch”, Bill graduated from Frankford High School in 1965. He served his country with honor during Vietnam as a Seabee (CM3). He moved to Bensalem, PA where he worked as a hydraulic specialist for Giles and Ransome, Inc. He retired in 2012 after 43 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7:30 p.m. Interment with full military honors will take place on Wednesday, July 27 at 9:30 a.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA, 18940.
