I’m so sorry to hear about Tom. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I worked with him at EPA in Philadelphia. He was a great guy—very funny and smart. I always enjoyed our conversations. His face always brightened up when he talked about his daughter or shared a photo of her. Tom was very down-to-earth and would always tell it like it is, which I appreciated. I was so impressed by his intelligence. We did inspections and investigations together. I remember bouncing ideas off of him—he had a way of taking a very complicated issue and breaking it down to make it very straightforward and easy to understand. I also enjoyed his sense of humor. I hope that warm memories help you all through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have so many memories of Tom growing up. Swimming , building forts in the woods, sledding on Marions yard. He always had a smile. He brought Sara to the ER where I worked and he was so concerned about her. You could tell he was proud of her and loved her. He won’t be forgotten. I’m so sorry for you all.

I sat next to Tom for many years when he worked for EPA. He was very humorous and smart and fun to be around. He seemed to me to be very devoted to his daughter Sara. I do think that he was a good person and that he would help others in need if they asked him. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing and I pray for the repose of his soul.
